I have worn these flats to many music festivals and we have danced to countless hours of music together. We danced so much that I actually tore the rope edging off of one, rendering them unwearable. I've hiked through woods, walked along rivers, climbed up mountains, sauntered through cities, and even done the mundane tasks of laundry and grocery shopping in these flats, I absolutely adored them!
There are worn in footprints on the interior and the sole of the shoes. Soles have no tread whatsoever anymore, very slippery when walking. Colors have faded from repeated sun exposure and accumulated sweat from my feet. Where the rope edging has torn off there is a hole into the interior of the shoe, revealing the padding under the sole. The material is a woven textile with a rubber/textile sole.
